HCL JAPAN LTD. is the Japanese subsidiary of India's leading IT company, which is comprised of two listed companies, HCL Technologies and HCL Infosystems, and has 80,000 employees in 31 countries around the world. The plan was to add one floor due to the increase in personnel at the company. The entrance area accents the corporate colors of blue and orange, and this space presents an image of a company that continuously advances to the future. The company receives many visitors so sufficient meeting space was necessary for the expansion of the office. Safe and efficient meetings with visitors can be held in the meeting rooms that are just past the entrance. Each meeting room is labeled with the name of a city, and a message about the corporate philosophy is displayed on the glass panels. In the office area we introduced the "Non-Territorial Office" approach in which employees do not have a fixed seat of their own. We prepared a multipurpose space next to the office area, which functions effectively as a space for reinvigorating in-house communication.
