(ANA) for inspection and repair of aircraft engines. It fully accommodates both ANA and companies in the ANA Group and includes a facility for engine maintenance, offices, meeting rooms and welfare facilities. Based on corporate commitments of security and reliability, the office that manages the engine maintenance facility must be able to work quickly and accurately. An office was therefore needed that would enable new ways of working and smoothly facilitate work processes by ANA and its affiliates. Moving away from a conventional layout demarcated by company, barriers between companies were removed and a layout was adopted that helped the companies better coordinate their management processes (production, technology, quality and maintenance) and expedite problem-solving. Communication space for emergency measures, discussions and the like is located adjacent, so the office makes both individual concentration and group collaboration possible. There are also meeting rooms, educational facilities (study room, consultation room), a central library and employee facilities (cafeteria and break room). This 'Anshin, Attaka, Akaruku-Genki' workplace provides an optimal balance of stimulation and relaxation and also raises motivation.
